I love it here – the weather is perfect, and there’s always something going on.” As for what’s going on with Sam, she likes hard rock, like Guns N’ Roses, and zombie movies, like Day of the Dead. “On any given evening, you’ll find me camped out on the couch with snacks and a pile of DVDs,” she says, laughing. “Some people smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, and I probably eat a bag of chips and a candy bar every day.” She burns off the calories on long walks with her friends around Los Angeles, taking in sights like the Hollywood Boulevard and the Santa Monica Pier.Samantha didn’t have any modeling experience – she had never posed for so much as a catalogue, let alone a nude photo – but she was confident enough to submit her portfolio for consideration. “I’ve always been interested in Playboy, but I never thought that I would do it,” she says. “I went to a casting call, they liked my photos, and then it all happened so fast – by the next week I was booked for my Amateur shoot.” Samantha’s confidence in her professional life extends into her personal life – she does what she wants when she wants to, and she doesn’t like to ask permission. “I’m into hard rockers with long hair and tattoos,” she says, “but I don’t like the ego that comes with it. If I want to make out with a girl, I’m going to do it. I don’t need that kind of approval.”
